Austin R. Maxey

Austin Maxey is the Salesforce Practice Leader at Apex IT, where he helps organizations change the way they engage customers, support employees and put technology to work. He has spent more than 15 years in enterprise transformation, and his path there is an unusual one: he started as a software engineer and now partners with executive leadership to tie technology investments to strategic business outcomes.

Austin’s focus sits where artificial intelligence, enterprise architecture and business transformation meet. He pushes clients past the implementation itself toward a fuller rethinking of how they operate. In his view, AI earns its value through smarter decisions, stronger customer relationships and enterprises built to adapt to whatever comes next.

Outside of Apex IT, Austin works with startups on AI initiatives and takes on his toughest logistics challenge: getting his kids from practice to the pool to a birthday party and back to practice again.
