Kate Fremming

Kate Fremming is Director of Finance at Apex IT, overseeing the company’s accounting and finance functions. Her 15 years of experience range from entrepreneurial startups to private equity-backed growth companies to publicly traded firms, and she brings both large-enterprise rigor and startup agility to the role. She has led M&A, FP&A and accounting teams through periods of rapid change.

Kate is driven to find the story behind the data, translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insights that fuel business growth. She is an active CPA in Minnesota and holds a B.S.B. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Minnesota.

Outside of work, Kate splits her time between the ski slopes and competitive triathlon training, bringing her sheepdog along on as many adventures as possible.
