Melissa Kell

Melissa Kell is Corporate Counsel for Apex IT, providing legal guidance and strategic counsel across the company’s commercial, operational and corporate initiatives. She partners closely with executive leadership to support Apex IT’s growth while managing legal risk and keeping the company compliant with applicable laws and industry best practices.

Melissa negotiates and advises on the full range of commercial agreements, from master services agreements and statements of work to licensing, data processing and vendor contracts. She also counsels the company on employment matters, corporate governance, data privacy and risk management. As a member of Apex IT’s AI Steering Committee, she helps shape the governance frameworks and policies that guide the responsible adoption of AI across the organization.

Melissa brings deep experience in building and running a corporate legal department, including advising executive teams on compliance across sales, finance, operations, HR and marketing, as well as on mergers and acquisitions.
