From Health Check to Oracle CX Redwood in Just Four Months

Challenge

A global research and consulting firm working across health, environment, governance, and economic development was running its sales operation on an Oracle CX Sales application that no longer fit the way the team worked. Processes varied from rep to rep, usability friction discouraged engagement with the platform, and the team’s record of past wins was scattered across systems in ways that made it harder to draw on prior work when shaping new pursuits.

Solution

Apex IT began with a Health Check, a structured diagnostic that mapped how the sales team was actually using the existing Oracle CX Sales environment, where it created friction, and where the greatest leverage for improvement existed. The findings pointed toward Oracle’s new Redwood experience as the right modernization path, with an interface designed for engagement and aligned to where Oracle is taking its Fusion roadmap.

Over the next four months, Apex executed the migration from Oracle CX Sales onto the Redwood Sales Platform. The work combined Apex IT’s Oracle CX consulting with Oracle implementation services: configuring the new experience around the firm’s sales process, preserving the underlying data and history the team relied on, and rolling out an interface built to encourage engagement rather than require it.

Results

The sales team now operates on a streamlined, scalable platform built around a process-driven cadence rather than individual habits. Reps have a clearer path through the system and easier access to past win stories, which means pursuit work that depends on prior performance can move faster. The migration also positions the firm for the broader Oracle Redwood roadmap as additional capabilities continue to roll out.
